I am just speechless,
and still not quite sure what to think…
My son has graduated.
& I’m left wondering…
where did 18 years go so fast?
I loved the fun, festive spirit of their commencement,
the decorated hats,
the beach balls bouncing through the graduates,
the lights going out for a few minutes,
the confetti and hats being thrown into the air,
and the happiness shining in my son’s eyes.
It was too fun and light-hearted to be sad. : )
GPA 3.97 with honors.
Alot of work for that piece of paper,
including several dual-credit college courses.
The days leading up to his Graduation were busy
with all the awards, ceremonies and programs. : )
. . .
The FFA Banquet was fun,
with yummy food and lots of awards.
My three have all really enjoyed
being a part of
“Future Farmer’s of America”.
Tyler’s team were State Winners
in the Grasslands competition.
and a Slideshow of all the seniors. : )
lots of awards,
and a couple of scholarships.
Leaving for his very last day of high school.
…I don’t think I’ve ever seen his truck so dirty.
Busy days. ; )
Last school program.
Tyler and a couple of his buddies stayed up all night,
lifting this car down over the flag pole.
A difficult task,
considering there was a senior camp-out happening around back,
and cop cars everywhere.
Still not sure how they managed to pull it off.
Crazy guys!! lol ; )
It had to be cut away with a torch,
and took about an hour to remove.
… and Rehearsal
with family and friends.
So much fun!
When Mom asked Tyler what he wanted for Graduation,
he mentioned a Study Bible,
the English Standard Version.
It’s such a beautiful book,
and I love that
“each word and phrase in the ESV has been carefully weighed
against the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek,
to ensure the fullest accuracy and clarity”.
His Uncle Darran gave him a beautiful 22,
with a plaque on it
“Tyler Ray Campbell
…for a job well done.
Best wishes for your future.”
Tyler had a lot of people there to watch him graduate.
I counted 49.
Some had already left when this was taken. ; )
Project Grad Night.
…and I’m still trying to recover from this all-night adventure. lol ; )
These were some of the best days of my life,
…and a new chapter begins.
